Moon 2 - 10

After a daring escape from their captors, the cats that were onboard of the watermonster hid deep in the mountains. This required what we now believe was a difficult climb for these cats. Once they arrived, simple clans were formed with no real border restrictions based off of what had existed before. The cats present, even in their small camps, were incredibly friendly with each other - there was no notion of clan loyalties. These clans were Thunderclan, lead by Fawnstar, Windclan, lead by Sagestar and Riverclan, lead by Smokestar. Neither Shadowclan and Skyclan appointed a leader at the time. None of these leaders received their nine lives.

Despite what seemed like friendly times, the loose borders resulted in cross-clan relationships which did result in the birth of kits for some. This caused a great divide with some cats believing they should be allowed to love whoever they wish while others believed rules needed to be imposed. These arguments caused violence between some and for others the situation was simply tense. Nothing ever truly came from these issues as they were brought to a screeching halt due to the issues that followed.

 

As Leaf-Bare began to settle into the clans, it was clear that this was more of a threat than the cross-clan relationships. Prey began to run scarce and the cold air deeply effected the elders and kits within the groups as their chests began to feel like they were burning. Starclan offered no assistance and yet the clans somehow managed to escape. This miracle has been debated by many cats, the majority believing that Smokestar alone lead the cats down the mountain yet there had to be some outside force helping him. This is believed to be The Wicked, a dark force  Many believe that Smokestar made a deal with The Wicked, a dark source of power that could rival Starclan itself, otherwise the clans likely would have perished.
